THE STORY BEHIND ORKA

In Sweden, there is a concept that doesn’t have a direct translation in English, yet it defines exactly how we feel today.

It is called Orka.

To have Orka means more than just having energy. It is the inner strength to manage your life, the capacity to cope with the mental load, and the will to prevail when things feel heavy. When a Swede says "I don’t have the Orka," they aren’t just saying they are tired. They are saying their battery is completely empty.

We founded this company for a simple reason: we looked around and realized that modern life is stealing our Orka.

From the moment we wake up to the moment we try to sleep, we are constantly "on." We are bombarded by notifications, deadlines, blue light, and a racing mind that simply refuses to switch off. We realized that our backs were stiff from sitting all day, our sleep was broken, and we were running on empty. We weren’t just tired; we were depleted.

When we searched for a way to recover, we found two extremes. On one side, there were pharmaceuticals like sleeping pills and painkillers that merely masked the exhaustion. On the other, there were "soft" wellness accessories—flimsy mats that felt more like toys than tools.

We realized that to truly combat modern stress, we didn’t need pampering. We needed a reset.
